A: There are several USB, PCI (desktop Macs) or PCMCIA (portables) sound cards or external devices available. As soon as you plug them in, MacOS should allow you to choose it as an output device (check manual for different OS setups). Q: How can I push buttons or move sliders during AutoMix mode? A: You can't: It is AutoMix. This is something like the autopilot in a plane: it is ON or it is OFF (to gain access to controls again turn AutoMix OFF).
